Background and objectives
The 5th Asian-Australasian Dairy Goat Conference (AADGC) was delayed and ultimately cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are pleased to announce that the 6th AADGC2024 will be held in Yangling, China on November 20-24, 2024. Being home to one of the world's largest goat populations, the Chinese government consistently promotes the growth of the dairy goat industry. The production of goat milk, recognized as the closest dairy product to human milk, in China accounts for about 3% of China's total milk production.
The objective of this conference is to present the current status of dairy goat production of the AADGN (Asian-Australasian Dairy Goat Network) member countries and sharing the latest research findings including the research achievements in mammary gland development and function regulation in dairy goat. This conference also provides a platform for communication and interaction to promote the development of the dairy goat industry in the Asian-Australasian region and beyond.
